John 3:12 — John writes, But if you don’t even believe me when I tell you about things that happen hear on earth, how can you possibly believe if I tell you what is going on in heaven?
Luke 16:31 — Luke writes, But Abraham said, If they won’t listen to Moses and the prophets, they won’t listen even if someone rises from the dead.
Psalm 11:3 — David writes, The foundations of law and order have collapsed. What can the righteous do?
Psalm 19:1-4 — David writes, The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day they pour fourth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or knowledge where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the end of the world.
1 Corinthians 15:40-41 — Paul writes, There are bodies in the heavens, and there are bodies on earth. The glory of the heavenly bodies is different from the beauty of the earthly bodies. The sun has one kind of glory, while the moon and stars each have another kind. And even the stars differ from each other in their beauty and brightness.
1 Peter 3:15 — Peter writes, Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life, and if you are asked about your Christian hope, always be ready to explain it.
Romans 1:18-22 — Paul writes, But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who push the truth away from themselves. For the truth about God is known to them instinctively. God has put this knowledge in their hearts. From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God. Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. The result was that their minds became dark and confused. Claiming to be wise, they became utter fools instead.
2 Timothy 4:3-4 — Paul writes, For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to right teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever they want to hear. They will reject the truth and follow strange myths.
2 Corinthians 10:5 — We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
