{"id":164,"date":"2014-03-18T03:53:40","date_gmt":"2014-03-18T03:53:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dev.creationdata.com\/?p=164"},"modified":"2014-03-18T03:53:40","modified_gmt":"2014-03-18T03:53:40","slug":"164","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/creationdata.com\/index.php\/2014\/03\/18\/164\/","title":{"rendered":"What About Darwin?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b><span style=\"color: #a72424;\">What About\u00a0Darwin?\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">It is no secret that Darwin started out as a nonconformist Unitarian, and that he was, at one point, studying to enter the ministry.\u00a0 On his famous trip on the Beagle to the Galapagos Islands,\u00a0he was an outspoken\u00a0orthodox believer.\u00a0\u00a0On his return to England he gained popularity, which led to meetings with many people holding views which were not widely accepted at the time.\u00a0\u00a0However, Darwin found these views of great interest to his inquiring mind.\u00a0 For years, he read a lot of materials from a wide variety of sources, many of which had favored the concept of evolution or natural processes as the method of creation.\u00a0 In 1838, he was still studying the affects of natural selection on various species.\u00a0 This is a concept\u00a0that is supported by creationists.\u00a0 In fact, the original process was\u00a0put forward by Christian scientists.\u00a0\u00a0In this period, Darwin began to\u00a0experiment with ideas that would merge his view of the evidence with that of the\u00a0church. \u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_165\" style=\"width: 190px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/dev.creationdata.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/180px-Annie_Darwin.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-165\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-165 \" alt=\"Annie Darwin\" src=\"http:\/\/dev.creationdata.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/180px-Annie_Darwin.jpg\" width=\"180\" height=\"251\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-165\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Annie Darwin<\/p><\/div>\n<p align=\"left\">Then, Darwin&#8217;s daughter Anne died.\u00a0 He was so devistated that he stopped attending church; questioning why if there was a God, He\u00a0would allow suffering in cases like Annie&#8217;s.\u00a0 His heart hardened towards God.\u00a0 From that point on he began looking for an explanation for our existence\u00a0that would not include God.\u00a0\u00a0The scientific evidence was not altered by that event, just Darwin&#8217;s view of the evidence.\u00a0 \u00a0In 1854, Darwin was still working on his theories about our origins.\u00a0 Not until 1859 did he publish his famous book the &#8220;Origin of the Species.&#8221;\u00a0 In his book, he<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">suggested that unless the intermediate fossil record could ultimately verify his theory, his theory<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">would be of little value.\u00a0 It has been 150 years, and all we have\u00a0are artist&#8217;s drawings of intermediate species in text books, and museum abstracts based primarily on speculation.\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: small;\">When Darwin presupposed life starting from a simple cell in the primordial oceans, he thought he was on a logical path.\u00a0 He had no idea just how complex even the simplest cell was, having the ability to communicate with the brain, take on food, dispose of waist, and perform other functions as part of a much larger system.\u00a0 Nor did Darwin have any concept of DNA or RNA, the vastly complex code of life.\u00a0 Darwinism is not rooted in science; it is rooted in the belief that there is no God.\u00a0 The scientific evidence is all the same, but\u00a0the interpretation\u00a0of that evidence is biased by whether you believe God created, or life and the universe can be explained without God.\u00a0 It is not unreasonable to suggest that if Darwin were alive today to review the evidence, he might not be\u00a0an advocate of his own theory.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">You see Darwinism is not rooted in science; it is rooted in the belief that there is no God.\u00a0\u00a0The scientific evidence is all the same, but the interpretation of that evidence is biased by whether you believe\u00a0God created, or life and the universe can be explained without God.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Most people believe in God, yet our schools only teach evolution theory. Our churches have made little effort to teach the clear and present evidence for creation. Many people and even churches have mistakenly thought they must compromise with evolution, because they are indoctrinated to believe evolution is scientifically sound. This is simply not true based on the observable evidence.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">So let\u2019s not be too quick to follow a theory that leads to sure death, rather than the hope of eternal life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">There are great books, magazines, DVDs and websites to show you the relevant evidence behind Creation.
